FALL 2024 WEEK 1 REVIEW
Hey AI Pickleball leaguers. Night one saw some tense battles right out of the gate!
The Carolina Blues put up a heck of a fight but were edged out by the Greens in a hard-fought contest. Team Navy came out swinging vs Team Purple but the new-to-pickleball combo of Chad and David had enough raw athletic talent to rattle Team Navy with 6 points in game 3. After a rocky start, Team White rallied and carried the day over Team Orange. That left Team Red head-to-head with Team Black in a contest ultimately dominated by Dave and Sarah.
The accolades kept pouring in for Team Black with Dave taking home a Fresh Franklin as the night's Most Valuable Pickler. Black saw more success as Sarah R. became inaugural league royalty by edging out an impressive Jeff H. in the final Kings Court of the night. That final win landed her Queen of the Court for night #1.
That picture is definitely worth a thousand words. All of this excitement and it was only night One.

FALL 2024 WEEK 2 REVIEW
Hey AI Pickleball leaguers. It was week 2 this past Sunday and boy have things heated up.
Team Green was riding on a high from last week but ran into an impressive Team White who bested Green 3 for 3. Team Red staggered a bit last week but found their footing in week 2 and triumphed over the Carolina Blues for a perfect 3-0. Team Black ran through Purple and kept their perfect record. Team Purple is picking up speed though, and put up great scores again with another 6-pointer in game 3 of their set vs Black. That left Navy in their battle with Orange. Team Navy came away with 3 wins but Orange put up a great fight.
Things will get a little more interesting down the next stretch with White, Black, and Navy all undefeated thus far.
This week's Most Valuable Pickler was Tracy from team Orange. Her boundless cheer plus some fantastic finishing shots won her the Fresh Franklin for this week. Anthony and Dave met on Kings Court after both were undefeated in the first 4 games. Ultimately Dave won that clash of the titans earning him King of the Court for week 2. Black’s future looks bright but a few teams are nipping at their heels. Stay tuned for a very tense week 3.

FALL 2024 WEEK 3 REVIEW
Hey AI PBLeague, the past week saw some exciting developments. It was week 3 and things got interesting!
Team Orange (who had been building momentum for the first 2 weeks) stomped on the gas pedal and had a resounding 3 wins over team Carolina Blue.Team Black stuck to the usual plan of "just win every game" and put up 3 wins over Team Green.
Team Red landed 2 wins against Purple, but David and Chad countered hard in game 3, giving Purple their first league win. That left Team White in a battle with Team Navy. White struck first with a win in game 1 but Navy rallied and punched back with wins in games 2 and 3. That gave us a bit of separation in the standings, leaving Team Black as the only undefeated team and top of the league.
Amy was the Most Valuable Pickler (MVP) of week 3. Her eternal sunshine and great shot placement winning her the Fresh Franklin. Kings Court saw another epic Game 5 battle. Anthony was again at the top court and undefeated through 4 games. His challenger Ian clawed all the way up from court 1 and won game 5 to earn the Crown and Scepter. There are 4 league days left to decide the victor. The upcoming matches for this Sunday are Orange v Black, White v Carolina Blue, Navy v Red, and Green v Purple.

FALL 2024 WEEK 4 REVIEW
Hey Pickleballers!
Week 4 of the league is now in the books and that means we are in the final half of our games.
Team Black ran the table vs Team Orange and is still undefeated at the top of the heap. The next few league nights will test that, though. Team White was successful in all 3 of their games vs The Carolina Blues. Team Navy was sorely pressed in their game 3 vs Team Red but managed to close that one out and ended up with a win in each of their games. Purple continued to improve their pickleball play and stung the Green Team with a win in Game 3 after a narrow loss in game 2. Those guys just keep getting better and better.
Most Valuable Pickler (MVP) went to Sharon who was finishing points and picking corners all night.
Kings court once again had Anthony undefeated going into the final game. After the coin flip game 4 saw Anthony and Mark taking on Ian and Amy. Amy was on fire that game and made play after play forcing the game to go the full 11 minutes. Once the dust settled, Anthony's team was up by 2 and he was finally crowned Kings Court Champion.
Things heat up this Sunday with Team Purple taking on Team white. Team Green will contest Team Navy. Team Orange goes toe to toe with Team Red and the Carolina Blues come up against Team Black.
