Weekly volleyball skill development and games for girls and boys ages 11-18. Includes AIVL uniform, photo day, playoffs, results and standings recorded online and end of season awards.

Choosing between U15 Intermediate and U15 Competitive:

U15 Competitive athletes should be able to:

  • Overhand serve with over 50% success rate

  • Pass to a target (setter) with 50% success rate

  • Understand the importance of the setter playing the 2nd ball

  • Understand and practice front row blocks and back row cover and passing when on defence

  • Understand and practice a pass, set, and hit on an offensive attack

  • Forearm pass, face pass, and perform standing hits with confidence and over 50% success

Athletes who are under 15 and are interested in playing U18 Competitive should be able to:

  • Overhand serve with over 70% success rate

  • Pass to a target (setter) with 80% success rate

  • Forearm pass, face pass, and perform standing hits with confidence and over 80% success

(FAQs)

  • In the event of inclement weather on the date of any programs scheduled a decision will be communicated by 4 PM if there will be a cancelation. If there has been no communication the programs will be running as scheduled.  

    After 4 PM the day of, discretion is left to the lead program instructor to cancel on-site. 

    A rescheduled session may push back all programming by one week. 

    Athlete Institute reserves the right to reschedule a session on another night of the week if required. Refunds will not be issued if the athlete cannot make the new date.   

    If a session gets canceled mid-way through it will not be rescheduled and if it’s canceled ahead of time, it will be rescheduled.  

    If a clinic is canceled due to inclement weather, the athlete may make up the clinic in a similar session on another night of the week.

  • Youth League Policy 
    The registration deadline is the last official day to register for our programs. This will always be 14 days (about 2 weeks) before the program's start date. You may still register for programs after this deadline with an added $20 late/administration fee. Please note that there will be no guarantees regarding teammate requests after this date. Members must also note that when signing up after the deadline they may not receive a jersey for 1-2 weeks.
